Tizor Systems has openings for Principal Engineers with 5-15 years experience developing network device management functions for networking devices.

Successful candidates will have very strong skills, experience, and interest in the following areas:

• Must have experience designing and implementing onboard applications and application instrumentation for network devices or embedded systems.
• Must have experience developing CLI and management plane callback functions.
• Must have strong C/C++ skills.
• Must have developed software for LINUX/UNIX systems
• Must have a fundamental understanding of network security system architecture, such as routers, switches, firewalls, or IDS/IPS systems.
• Must have a fundamental understanding of TCP/IP and client /server networking.
• Must be a strong communicator.

Other skills of value include:

• Experience and strong interest in the information security field is very desirable.
• Experience in database environments is very desirable.
• Understanding of authentication systems and encryption systems is a strong plus.
• Grammar, parser, and lexer development, for example utilizing Lex and Yacc, is a plus.
