Joel RosenJoel Rosen
As president and CEO, Joel Rosen drives the business strategy and day-to-day operations of Tizor. Joel served as president and CEO of NaviSite, a managed services infrastructure provider. At NaviSite, he led the company through a successful initial public offering, grew revenue tenfold to $100 million, and oversaw the delivery of services which were backed by industry-leading service level agreements. Previously, Joel spent 10 years at Aspen Technology, where he played a key role in defining and executing the strategy that grew revenues profitably from $6 million to $250 million, and was part of the management team that brought the company public. As executive vice president, he oversaw the product development, marketing, business development, customer support and professional services functions for the majority of the company's revenues. Most recently, Joel was a venture partner with Charles River Ventures, where he focused on investments in the software and services sector. Earlier in his career, Joel was a manager at Bain & Company and also worked in brand management at Procter & Gamble. Joel earned an M.B.A. with high distinction from Harvard Business School and an A.B. in economics from Harvard College . He is a director of Liquid Engines, Inc.

Nilanjana Bhowmik
Nilanjana BhowmikNilanjana Bhowmik is a Partner at Longworth Venture Partners. Before joining Longworth, Nilanjana held the position of Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions at Jefferies Broadview where she led several buy and sell side transactions involving public and private Information Technology companies. Prior to Broadview, Nilanjana served at eXcelon Corporation (formerly Object Design Inc) where she managed the company’s professional services business for North America. She received a B.Eng. in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology, an MS in computer science from the University of South Carolina, and an MBA from INSEAD. She is a charter member of the Boston chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE).

Mark GorenbergMark Gorenberg
Mark Gorenberg is a partner at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and has more than 20 years of experience in software development. Prior to joining Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Mark was a Senior Software Manager in advanced product development at Sun Microsystems. His background includes direct experience in a number of software technologies. Mark received a BSEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MSEE from the University of Minnesota , and an MS in Engineering Management from Stanford University . Mark has served as a director of start-up and public software companies, including AdForce, NetDynamics and Scopus Technologies. He currently serves as a director of Cenzic, Lathian Systems, ontheFRONTIER, Omniture, and Tizor. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Corporation (Board of Trustees).

Scot Sedlacek
Mr. Sedlacek is a Venture Partner with JMI Equity, a multi-stage private equity firm focused on investing in software and business services companies. Prior to JMI, Scot was a Managing Director with Jefferies & Co.’s Technology Investment Banking Group, Jefferies Broadview. An 18-year veteran of technology finance and investment banking, Scot formerly served as Co-Head of Broadview’s Software and Services Global Market Group. Scot previously served on the Board of Directors of Broadview International, LLC through its acquisition by Jefferies & Co. in 2003 and was a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. Prior to joining Broadview in 1988, he was employed by IBM Corporation. Scot currently serves on the Board of Directors of Lumeta Corporation and is a member of the Strategic Advisory Board to Security Growth Partners, a firm focused on early-stage investing in the IT security sector. Scot received an A.B. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Stephen K. SmithStephen K. Smith
Stephen K. Smith, general partner of Masthead Venture Partners, has been a venture capital investor and equity analyst covering technology companies for more than two decades. Prior to joining Masthead, Stephen spent 16 years as a top-ranked Wall Street analyst for PaineWebber, Inc., and was rated as a top analyst of technology stocks, holding a position on the Institutional Investor All Star Research Team for 10 years. He was twice voted the #1 analyst of computer stocks by the Wall Street Journal. Stephen holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a First Class Honors Degree in Computer Science from Brighton Polytechnic University in England . He is a director of C/Base Inc. (Ecount) and serves on the boards of Bitpipe, Packet Design, LLC, and Tizor, all Masthead portfolio companies. He is also a board member of Maine 's Small Enterprise Growth Fund and an active member of CommonAngels. He founded and subsequently sold High Tech Catalysts Inc., an investment banking firm and licensed broker-dealer.
