Prat Moghe, Founder and CEO Prat Moghe is the founder and CEO of Tizor who led the launch of its product into the data auditing market. Prat is responsible for driving corporate strategy, technical vision and day-to-day operations. Prat led Tizor through two financing rounds and established its security and compliance market strategy. Prat is an acknowledged thought leader in the compliance, security, networking, and systems management space and is widely quoted on identity theft and emerging security trends. He is also the author of the security industry’s first data auditing blog at http://blog.tizor.com . Previously, Prat was Founder and CEO of StreamCenter Inc., a venture-financed startup that developed reliable video distribution for the public Internet. He has a strong technical background in networking, security, and systems management, starting at Bell Labs Research. Prat has several patents pending or granted, and has published numerous papers in conferences and journals. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UCLA. Prat is a TiE Charter Member and is active in mentoring other entrepreneurs.
Nilanjana Bhowmik
Nilanjana Bhowmik is a Partner at Longworth Venture Partners. Before joining Longworth, Nilanjana held the position of Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions at Jefferies Broadview where she led several buy and sell side transactions involving public and private Information Technology companies. Prior to Broadview, Nilanjana served at eXcelon Corporation (formerly Object Design Inc) where she managed the company’s professional services business for North America. She received a B.Eng. in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology, an MS in computer science from the University of South Carolina, and an MBA from INSEAD. She is a charter member of the Boston chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE).
Mark Gorenberg Mark Gorenberg is a partner at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and has more than 20 years of experience in software development. Prior to joining Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Mark was a Senior Software Manager in advanced product development at Sun Microsystems. His background includes direct experience in a number of software technologies. Mark received a BSEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MSEE from the University of Minnesota , and an MS in Engineering Management from Stanford University . Mark has served as a director of start-up and public software companies, including AdForce, NetDynamics and Scopus Technologies. He currently serves as a director of Cenzic, Lathian Systems, ontheFRONTIER, Omniture, and Tizor. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Corporation (Board of Trustees).
Scot Sedlacek Mr. Sedlacek is a Venture Partner with JMI Equity, a multi-stage private equity firm focused on investing in software and business services companies. Prior to JMI, Scot was a Managing Director with Jefferies & Co.’s Technology Investment Banking Group, Jefferies Broadview. An 18-year veteran of technology finance and investment banking, Scot formerly served as Co-Head of Broadview’s Software and Services Global Market Group. Scot previously served on the Board of Directors of Broadview International, LLC through its acquisition by Jefferies & Co. in 2003 and was a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. Prior to joining Broadview in 1988, he was employed by IBM Corporation. Scot currently serves on the Board of Directors of Lumeta Corporation and is a member of the Strategic Advisory Board to Security Growth Partners, a firm focused on early-stage investing in the IT security sector. Scot received an A.B. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
